Facebook is an addicting for everyone. in the article the mom is to busy on facebook to help her duaghter with her homework. When a single mom doesnt have time for her family due to facebook it is a very important thing for everyone. i think that facebook is addicting because when i get on i can be on facebook for over 2 hours at a time and thats not good for my life. most kids spend there time on facebook and not getting the fitness they need cause they are on facebook.
My opinion on this story is that people try to make themselves almost new lives on Facebook. And that people neeed to realize that Facebook isn't everything. And in the story "Newton" should feel ashamed for ignoring her own daughter to be on Facebook. It's fun to have Facebook but it's a privalge to have.

1. The article talks mostly about how people are becoming more and more addicted to facebook, like when that woman's daughter needed help with homework,but the mom was to busy on facebook. ways to tell if you are addicted to facebook are you lose sleep over it, you spend more than an hour a day on facebook, or you become obsessed with old loves.
2. My opinion on this article is that not helping your kid because your on facebook is pathetic, and losing sleep because of something you saw is just ridiculous. I think it's just pathetic really.

1) That people are speding too much time on social network sites, and they don't pay attention to what's going on around them. It takes away from family time. Its very time consuming.
2) I think they're right, people are spending too much time on the internet, and not enough time with children or ect. Its part of our generation to be on the web. Its how we stay connected.
I think facebook can be addicting and i even catch myself using it to much but i dont really anymore. It can be really bad if its affecting your family or personal relationships. I have seen some of my cousins use it constantly and it really makes me mad. It can be addicting but any website really can be if you get in a habit of getting on it everyday then it becomes worse. I just hope it never happens to me!

I think that Facebook is pretty addictive! I mean, i'm not on it 24/7 but a solid four hours a day i am on it. It's like, you see a status on your newsfeed and you like it so you look on their profile and then you see someone wrote on their wall, so you look at their profile. Then you are on their profile and you look at their profile pictures and see someone you know in the picture with them and you creep on them! It is a never-ending cycle, once you get on it you get sucked in!

2.i think Facebook is a great way to "expand your network" as so many college students tell us 2 do. but on the contrary you can spend way to much time on the site. which is stupid!
