According to the website guardian.co.uk, the Conficker virus "could be the biggest April Fool's joke ever played on the internet, or it could be one of the worst days ever for computers connected to the network. Security experts can't work out whether the Conficker virus – which has infected more than 10m window PCs worldwide – will wreak havoc on Wednesday , or just let the day pass quietly."

The virus messes up your computer something feirce. It could cause problems with your computers. Once you get it, you cant get rid of it. You will always have it. Anyone could get this virus.
2.) The Conficker virus is what they call a "botnet", which is a network of robot computers.
3.) The Conficker virus could cause problems like, being locked out of your computer and resulting in very slow internet. Worse things is that it has been found in the House of Commons computer systems. If the virus hacks into important information it could many people in danger, importantly the whole country.

The conficker virus is a programmed virus that integrates into a person's computer.
It can cause problems for microsoft users. Because it solely attacks them. Also if your computer isn't protected enough, then it can cause problem.

The conficker worm get into your computer and effects your files and moves the virus into other links on the internet. This can cause problems by making your computer slower. Everyone who has a computer that is not a mac can be affected.

the virus is used to capture credit card numbers, passwords,and email addresses. it also is used to try and get onto servers, using thousands of sites at once, so it overloads a server, and is makes internet connections very slow. people who accedentally go to any of the infected webistes has a very high risk of becoming infected. if your computer already has the virus on it, good luck with geting rid of it. it is extremely hard to destroy, seeing as it changes its entire configuration every day.
It infects computers and then whoever is running the virus can control your computer, and when you try to get on the internet it is really slow or doesn't work.

the Conficker C. virus targets only Windows computers and it has mainly been said to go after financial links like online banking and bank security and its been able to break right past the codes and take down information.

Companies would be a big target, in my opinion. i think that the people who came up with this virus wanted it to do something to the Windows company so i think that has to do with it.

It can make your internet really slow, or it can lock your computer so that you can't do anything at all, or it can wire money from your bank acount to who ever started it. Millions of PCs have been infected and we could get our pcs infected also.
The conficker virus is a probalbly the worst computer worm in the last couple of years!
First of all to make sure, that the virus can't be removed from the computer it blocks the programms like the Windows Updater, the Windows Defender or the System protocol. That leads to changing of passwords, that can make computers totally blocked and nobody can use them anymore. Then the computer can load other viruses and just make that whole thing worse. The problem is...there are computers everywhere even in banks and security institutions of every country in this world...and the virus is changing so it could bascilly go on like this for ever! And i don't even wanna imagine a world without computers!

The victims to this virus usually discover that they have been locked out of their computers or have slow- running internet connections. This can cause anyone to not be able to get on there computer the big risks are big companies that have their business on the internet.
