With almost a month left before the transition of power from outgoing President George Bush to the incoming President Barack Obama, many cabinet positions and other high level offices must be filled.

Hilary Clinton was appointed as Secretary of State, she will be representing the U.S. in foreign negotiations.
Tom Vilsack was appointed Secretary of Agriculture, he will monitor how the ag economy is doingin the next few years.
Ken Salazar will be Secretary of the interior, he will monitor the trade economy.
Governor Tom Vilsack as secretary of agriculture, the Secretary of Ag will be in charge of the farm bill, the FDA, and water disputes. and Senator Ken Salazar, as secretary of the interior,is in change of domestic trade agreements and trade embargos with other nations.

The cabinet positions that I chose are the Secretary of State. Mrs. Hilary Clinton has this position. She is in charge foreign relation policies. Secretary of Ag is Tom Vilsack and he is in charge of farm bills, water disputes and FDA. And least but not last the Head of Interior. Obama chose Senator Ken Salazar and is charge of domestic agreements and trade embargos. I think the next couple of years shall be interesting.

For the secretary of state, Obama is putting Hillary CLinton. the secretary of state is the head of the united states department of state. it deals with foreign affiars.
For the Secretary of the treasury, he is appointing Timothy Geither. it is concerned with the finance and monatary matters. it dealt with some issues of national security and defence until 2003.
For the Secretary of defence, he is appointing Robert Gates. it deals with the armed services and military matters.
